How exciting! I was just there in July so: Queen Victoria Market for the deli meats and American doughnuts, Bistro Vue (or Vue de Monde if you're feeling really indulgent), Bistro Guillaume, Bottega, Koko Black, Sushi Burger, La Luna...and lots of other places I didn't get to go to like Press Club, Helenic Republic, Grossi Florentino, Fifteen, Yu-U (if you can manage to get a booking)
heh I have no idea about melbourne restaurants but I'll be waiting for your posts! a bigger waistline is a worthy sacrifice for your food blog.. we just have to suck it up LOL :D
